PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) is an ultra-hard composite material synthesized by combining diamond micron powder with a metallic binder (cobalt/nickel) under high temperature and high pressure. Its performance offers unparalleled advantages when machining non-ferrous materials.
In the 1970s, people used high-pressure synthesis technology to produce polycrystalline diamond (PCD), thereby addressing the issues of scarcity and high cost associated with natural diamonds. This breakthrough expanded the application scope of diamond tools to a wide range of fields, including aerospace, aviation, automotive, electronics, and stone processing.
